Lamalama Ka Ulu

Land and Cultural Reunion: Rematriation

Lamalama Ka Ulu is a Land healing center being brought into being by Kānaka Maoli healers on Hawaiʻi Island. The center is envisioned as a place where traditional healing methods are taught, practiced, and made accessible to Native Hawaiians and the broader community. This work is grounded in Indigenous values and a sacred relationship with Land, recognizing healing as inseparable from place, culture, and responsibility.

Lamalama Ka Ulu carries a vision of liberation through healing, supporting the restoration of well-being for individuals, families, and community while tending to the ongoing relationship between people and Land.
