This cohort is for California tribal groups who are working toward their first re-acquisition of tribal lands. This cohort is for groups who have a vision and a working group, but are still working through the technical and relational aspects of holding title to land.  Our work together will support federally unrecognized tribes or landless recognized tribes to design a pathway that includes financial, legal, governance, cultural and stewardship planning considerations.  Cohorts allow this work to happen in community. We'll have at least one in-person gathering, so participants can weave relationships that support and carry this work forward.
